Sewer Collection Tank*
Village of Corning, Ohio
The approximate 254 Ac- Village is located in Perry County, Ohio, along Sunday Creek with a population of approximately 593 people. A new sewer collection system was designed to provide service to approximate 264 house units. The system includes gravity and force mains and several submersible pumps stations. The design and construction of his project had several challenges due to the rugged hills, existence of rocky soils, lack of existing utilities information, State roads and rail road crossings.
Stand Pipe Tank*
Village of Corning, Ohio
A design and construction of a new ±180K-gallon stand pipe tank, master meter vault improvements and telemetry system was necessary to provide to the Village with fire protection after the old tank was not operational for years. The construction of this tank also provided adequate working pressure to the existing village’s water system so the Village was independent, pressure wise, from the Burr Oak’s Water District system.
Raw and Finished Waterlines*
Burr Oak Regional Water- District (BORWD), Ohio
Complete design and permitting of a 20-inch raw and a 18-inch finished waterlines. The approximately 5-mile raw waterline conveyed flows from the new well field to the new water treatment facility and the approximately 3-mile finished waterline carried flows from the water treatment plant to a connection point at the existing BORWD’s water distribution system.
Etna Corporate Park Elevated Tower*
Southwest Licking Water and Sewer District (SWLWSD), Ohio
A 1MG-elevated tank was designed and constructed to spur the industrial growth in the western end of Licking County by providing adequate pressure and fire storage volume to the existing system. The engineering and consulting services included study of the long term plan to transform parts of the District’s water system from that of rural residential services to that of commercial and industrial services, hydraulic modeling and detailed construction documents.
New Water Reclamation Facility**
Town of Davie, Florida
The new 12-acre Water Reclamation Facility is located within the Town’s Regional Activity Center surrounding by residential and prestigious educational centers. The engineering services for this facility included site infrastructure design of paving, grading, drainage, fire line and canal embankment improvements.
New Reclaimed Water Distribution System**
Town of Davie, Florida
The services rendered for the completion of this project include preparation of preliminary design and final engineering report, and construction documents for the Town’s new Reclaimed Water Distribution System (7 MGD). At the planning phase of this project it was necessary to recognize and hold meeting with the potential customers as liaison of the Town, collect design flow information, investigate hours of operation and create the hydraulic modeling of the system.
Water Distribution and Sanitary Sewer Infrastructure Improvements**
Town of Davie, Florida
In order to accommodate the Town’s New Water Reclamation Facility, additional improvements to the existing aged water distribution and sanitary sewer systems were executed to convey the wastewater flows to the plant and to provide new watermains to the system. The improvements include the design and preparation of construction documents and contracts administration for 12/16-inch water main and 16-inch force main improvements on College Avenue, 16-inch water main and 24-inch force main improvements on SW 30th St and a 5 MGD lift station.
Wholefoods**
City of North Miami, Florida
The Wholefoods is a 3.2-acre site located in the City of North Miami. The modern-style projects includes one (1) retail building and outparcel facilities. Services provided for both on-site and related off-site improvements include: site planning, civil engineering, landscape architecture and environmental permitting.
Public Safety Complex and Fire Station 80**
Coral Springs, Florida
The 7-acre site is located in the City of Coral Springs. The site was completely improved to meet current regulatory standards and serve the new necessities of the complex due to the building expansion. Services provided for both on-site and related off-site improvements include: due diligence report, civil engineering, and environmental permitting. Off-site improvements include the design of a storm water system at the adjacent recreational park in order to accommodate the storm flows of the site in order to comply with the regulatory agencies standards.
Additionally, professional support in the civil design aspects was provided to the Fire Station 80 to obtain the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design gold certification for its environmentally friendly innovations, including stormwater management.
Dixie Corridor Septic to Sewer Lift Stations
City of Hollywood, Florida
Buoyancy evaluation and shop drawings for 8-foot diameter 20-foot deep segmental raisers wet wells, installed with concrete seals by Tremie method.
Coral Springs Warehouse Water Study
Coral Springs, Florida
Analysis of existing building's distribution system to recommend adequate water meter size.
